Jeremy founded Environmentarian to help for-good organisations including NFPs, social enterprises, and for-profits doing meaningful work, get digital things done. He works with clients to identify and act on practical, high-ROI digital wins, from strategy and branding through to website development, SEO, UX, and integrated video content.
He is also co-founder and lead of the Hemp Building Directory, Secretary and tech lead of iHemp NSW a member of Leaders for Impact, co-host of People Planet Pint and member of Impact Story Lab Sydney.
His path here wasn’t linear, and that’s part of the value. Thirty years of hands-on business experience, building ventures from the ground up across hospitality and events, gave him a founder’s instinct for what actually moves a business forward. Training and working as a building designer during the COVID years, and a growing presence in Australia’s hemp and bio-building sector, added a builder’s eye for systems, materials, and how things are put together properly. That mix now shapes everything Environmentarian does: a “get-it-done” mindset that moves fluidly between high-level strategy and hands-on implementation, whether that’s untangling tech, refining a message, or guiding a client through a bigger decision.
Many clients come to Environmentarian needing someone they can trust to fix, optimise, or maintain what’s already in motion, rather than tear it down and start over. After an assessment phase, Jeremy actions the tasks that make sense, practical wins today, building toward the longer-term strategy.
As part of Environmentarian’s ESG commitments, the business hosts websites on carbon-neutral, ethical, onshore servers, and contributes 1%+ of revenue to causes including Médecins Sans Frontières and Mossy Earth. Through ongoing hempcrete education and a partnership with the Hemp Building Directory, Jeremy also supports purpose-driven trades and designers working to reduce waste and build better.
At his core, he’s a doer: building systems, solving problems, and keeping things moving.
